Dr. Seuss Kuscheldecke / Dr. Seuss Cuddly Blanket

Ich liebe alle Dr. Seuss-Bücher, vor allem "The Cat in the Hat". Und als ich dann noch diese tolle Dr. Seuss-Stoffe gefunden habe, musste ich sie einfach haben...früher oder später würde mir schon einfallen wofür ich sie verwenden könnte. Lange musste ich nicht warten. Mein Baby ist fasziniert von allen Bändern und Zotteln, also wollte ich eine kleine Kuscheldecke mit vielen Bändern und Zotteln für sie nähen, an denen sie ziehen und nuckeln kann ;-)

I just love Dr. Seuss, especially "The Cat in the Hat". And after I saw these amazing Dr. Seuss fabrics I just had to buy them...i thought sooner or later I would have an idea what to do with them. And sure enough the idea came. My baby girl is fascinated with all ribbons and tags so i decided to make a little cuddly blanket with heaps of ribbons and tags for her to pull and suck on ;-)

Ich habe auch dieses "Cat in the Hat"-panel gekauft und für die Rückseite der Decke ein oder zwei der Quadrate benutzt.

I also bought this "Cat in the hat"-panel and used one or two squares for the back of the cuddly blankets.

Da ich in meinem Shoppingwahn etwas übertrieben habe, hatte ich viel Stoff übrig und habe kurzer Hand noch ein paar extra Kuscheldecken genäht...früher oder später werden meine Freundinnen schon auch Babys kriegen...

Since I went a little over the top during my shopping spree I had heaps of fabric and the panel is huge, so I made a few more cuddly blankets for gifts for baby showers...sure enough one of my friends will have a baby soon...
